Starcraft 2 shirts!! 

So SC2 has been out for quite some time now, but it never seems to get old with our group of friends. What can I say, we love it! And MLG Anaheim was a perfect way of showing our love for the game. It was our first time at such a big event for gaming and we were PRETTY EXCITED. Gee and I are pretty geeky so we decided we wanted to have SC2 shirts. But the ones that were available were…. mmm.. not so cute. Who said being geeky meant being ugly?! So we decided to make our own! At first, it was only for the two of us and we thought none of the guys in our group would want one because of how nerdy we thought the idea was, but it turns out, they wanted their own too! 

So we ended up with a bigger project than expected. Twas all good in the hood though, they ended up turning out great. We used the flexible fabric paint (and not that stiff puffy paint ish) which was a good decision on our part. Made everything really easy, even if we needed to do more than one coat. We made stencils, bought shirts, mixed paints to get the correct color we wanted, painted and voila! We did our race symbols on the front and gamer tag on the back. OooO yeeeah.

The best part of the day (other than seeing pro gamers and game casters (Husky <3) and actually getting to meet them) was when people actually started asking where we bought our shirts. We were even asked how well we placed in the competition!! :P 

Maybe one day we’ll be able to compete as a team..
